Artist's Comments

Okay first tutorial i did, i spent lot of time on it!
i hope it will be usefull, pleasant to read and understand
for everyone.

I think i love doing that! i mean teaching!
that won't be the only one!
the only factor is time again! i hope i will have more free time to go on this.

the public aimed is beginners that wanna have solid basics
(really motivated because it's hard)
and also and especially skilled and pro artists, that have doubts about many things they didn't catch
because their art teachers...are a bit idiot...almost fakes in fact, and there are a lot in our world trust me!

U need to know this kind of lesson's can be very expensive in our days, plus mines are fun huh? and for you it's free!

here we go

And I'm happy you loved teaching, right now I'm working on learning about perspective (every month I give myself I new theme to practice and no I'm in the perspective theme) So many many thanks from a humble apprentice of drawing.

I've saved this already *_*

Well, the fleeing dot IS usually on the horizon line. It all depends on what height your eyes are when drawing a scene. The situation you've shown is when a person bends a bit or sits. The lower the eyes are the higher above the horizon line the fleeing points are and vice versa - the higher you are the lower the fleeing points.

But you're right about one thing - drawing from a lower perspective makes things look better and more monumental ;)

Good work!

Tis now the very witching time of night, when churchyards yawn and hell itself breathes out Contagion to this world: now I could drink hot blood, and do such bitter business, as the day would quake to look on.

Hamlet, Act III, scene ii

Wow! Merci mille fois!
First off I gotta say, I LOVE your name! Retaureau...that is SO COOL! I am definitely naming a character that! XD
Second, I suck at perspective so it's great that your doing this! Please have more of this up! Are you going to talk about all perspective in general?
Third, your english is actually pretty good, a few words here and there, but hey, I can understand you!(But, did you use an online translator for this?;))
:iconshiroifushicho:
bah bien sur xD
